This is a Heavy industrial. Someone that is policy procedure driven, and a fair empolyer. Elec Motor Repair exp. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of 7 years experience of comprehensive machining and 2 years of management experience. Candidate must have a thorough in depth understanding of set up, operation and programming of both manual CNC equipment and a keen understanding of rotating equipment. Skilled in problem solving, organizational skills and process improvement. Must be a team player. . Will repair various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot suspected problems with AC or DC motors. Assemble/disassemble motors noting configuration and condition of each part. Clean motors and assemblies using washers/steamers, glass beaders, and caustic tanks. Correctly measure for and requisition replacement parts. Replace defective or worn bearings, brushes, gears, seals, switches, brakes, clutches, fans, etc. Test repaired equipment for proper operation. Complete ppwk for each job. Keep area neat and clean.
